panel for B767 400 series
By Chris JEANNE, FRANCE made may 2006

chris-flying@club-internet.fr

this panel includes internal views, so it does not match with any virtual cockpit

B767 400 panel is slighlty different from the 777 one, the autopilot, analogic gauges in the middle,
central console and upper panel are those of the 757/767 200,300

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

HOW TO INSTALL:

-first, unzip "764PANEL", and paste its content into any of your favorite 767-400

-then unzip "764gauges" and paste it (without unzipping "...cab" files NOR OPENING 744CJ and CJgauges)
 into fs9 "GAUGE" directory

- paste all the .WAV files into FS9 SOUND directory,( not into the aircraft SOUND)
- put the soarrec.dll and fssound.dll modules into fs9 MODULES directory and you should be aware
of activating them in fs9.cfg (otherwise, you could see a pop up message"sound file ungeltig")
How to find fs9.cfg:

the easiest way is to use Windows "search files" in the start menu
but you an find it manually:

C\Documents and settings\Administrator(your name or initals)\Application Data\Microsoft\Fs9.cfg

Open the file with notepad and add the following lines to it's very beggining

[OLDMODULES]
FSsound.dll=1
SOARRec.dll=1

Save and close

- enjoy your flight !

IF YOU WANT TO FLY THE POSKY 767 with my panel:

be sure to have this aircraft.cfg text:

model=
with no letters "vc" after "model="

NOTES:

this panel is designed to have everything on the same window, this is my "philosophy"

Many flightsimmers would like to have an upper panel, in order to be able to
comply with the whole engine starting procedure : I understand that, but I would
advise them to use a real 747 simulator , provided they have enough money to
pay the rental fare, probably some thousands bucks an hour ! I made the "low-cost" choice!!
I would appreciate any panel designer to make one .

PLEASE ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE THESE CHANGES IN THE AIRCRAFT.CFG ABOUT THE RADIONAV SETTINGS

	-Radionav settings:very important paragraph, many flightsimmers email me questions about this.

		1-open AIRCRAFT.CFG

		2-browse to the paragraph RADIOS which is this one:

		[Radios]
		// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
		Audio.1=1
		Com.1=1, 1
		Com.2=1, 1
		Nav.1=1, 1, 1
		Nav.2=1, 1, 0
		Adf.1=1
		Transponder.1=1
		Marker.1=1

		3-change it this way:

		[Radios]
		// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
		Audio.1=1
		Com.1=1, 0
		Com.2=1, 0
		Nav.1=1, 0, 1
		Nav.2=1, 0, 0
		Adf.1=1
		Transponder.1=1
		Marker.1=1

		As you understand, 1 means available, 0 means not available; I did these changes for the
		second item of the first line list (standby frequency). Do this FOR EACH AIRCRAFT YOU WANT TO USE
		WITH MY PANELS, 757 ,747, 767, md80, 737's, CRJ and s.o. The reason is that I did not use a radionav
		gauge with standby-frequencies in order to save room on the panel. If this paragraph does not exist, copy it.
		(notice MS wrote "availIable!!) Nobody's perfect!

CREDITS :
to many gauge designers, I can't name them all, to Paul Golding, R.Probst, and may other smart designers
But we need to congratulate Ken Mitchell for his great nav display including the flight plan track on the
same screen. I just changed the knobs frame to match with the "Boeing style".

Remember flightsimming is fun, real flying is great!
Do not imagine that flightsimming will provide you any flying feeling: try to shoot an ILS approach
in a GA aircraft, no autopilot and real low ceiling around 200ft, then you can say "as real as it gets"!!
